CITITRUST Capital Management (PTY) Limited, South Africa has been authorised as a Financial
Services Provider in terms of the Financial Advisory & Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 with
effect from July 07, 2020. The Financial Service Conduct Authority (FSCA) has disclosed this on its
website on July 17, 2020.
This is indeed a remarkable feat and another Giant stride in realizing our Pan-African Expansion Plan, says the Group Chief Executive of CITITRUST Holdings Plc. Our Journey dates back to 2017
when the Group launched its Pan-African Expansion Plan – a daunting objective to take on a region as a leading Investment and Financial Services Group, we had kicked-off in South Africa Region and
a little over one year, we have been authorized as a Financial Service Provider in South Africa – the shape of CITITRUST brand is gradually emerging.
He further noted that this stride was particularly gratifying, coming on heels of recently issued NCR
(National Credit Provider) License for CITITRUST Financial Services (PTY) Limited, South Africa (“A
sister Company of CITITRUST Capital Management (PTY) Limited, South Africa”) to operate nationally in South Africa and offer quick and convenient consumer credit to qualified individuals to enable them meet their financial needs.
According to the Financial Service Conduct Authority (FSCA), the products approved for CITITRUST Capital Management (PTY) Limited, South Africa includes: Long-Term Insurance and Short-Term Insurance, Retail Pension Benefits and Pension Fund Benefits, Money Market Instruments, Bonds,
Short-term Deposits, Friendly Society Benefits and Participatory interests in a collective investment
scheme.
